Neti pots are easily available on line now, but have you ever used one? Do you know what it is for? If you are curious, read on!
The practice of sniffing or pouring salt water to clear the sinuses, relieve cold symptoms and many other health benefits has become more well known in some circles. However, being guided through the complete practice including the importance of effectively drying the nostrils afterwards to ensure symptoms of a cold do not nullify the benefits, and understanding the need for and benefits of regular practice in the first month is not commonly available.
The session will begin with a short settling meditation and an introduction to the practice of neti with handout detailing reasons to do this practice and the various health benefits.
Practice using the neti lota with and without water and breathing practices for effective drying of the nostrils.
Finishing with a lying down relaxation and a seated breath awareness meditation.
Please bring a bath towel.
